Automating one of agriculture’s most labor-intensive tasks: rice paddy weeding

Mizunigoru is an autonomous weeding robot designed to navigate rice paddies, suppressing weed growth by continuously stirring the water during the early stages of cultivation. Leveraging GNSS-based navigation, it drastically reduces the manual labor and time traditionally spent on weed management. At this exhibition, we are showcasing a next-generation solution that addresses critical agricultural challenges, including labor shortages, aging populations, and the rigorous demands of organic and reduced-pesticide farming.
