Biogas can be upgraded to natural gas quality and used in grids or as vehicle fuel.

WELTEC BLUE WATER separates digestate into solids and liquids, resulting in approximately 50% clean water, 25% solid matter, and 25% liquid nutrient concentrate.
The system is currently in use at around 15 large biogas plants worldwide.
With a minimum processing capacity of about 50,000 tons per year, the system can be easily expanded by combining multiple lines if higher throughput is required.
