Our Company's Strengths and Features
Regional Circulatory and Symbiotic Zone (Local SDGs)
As an industrial waste management company, we accept approximately 49,000 tons of sewage sludge, food residues, and livestock manure each year—resources that would otherwise remain unused. Through long-term fermentation and proper treatment, we upcycle these materials into about 19,700 tons of fully matured compost that meets strict hygiene and safety standards. Transforming organic waste into high-performance agricultural inputs is one of our core strengths.
By pelletizing cattle manure—a process once considered difficult—and blending it with biochar, we improve material spreadability, water retention, and carbon sequestration performance. These innovations contribute both to healthier soils and to climate change mitigation. In addition, by promoting carbon sequestration practices on farmland, we are preparing to link these efforts to the “J-Credit” system, helping visualize and quantify environmental value while creating new economic opportunities.
We are committed to realizing a future imagined by farmers and local communities—one where reliable agricultural inputs support sustainable farming, and circular systems enrich everyday life. Guided by a market-in approach grounded in farmers’ needs, we design products that directly enhance yield stability and ease of use. Through this, we contribute to SDG 12 (“Responsible Consumption and Production”) by utilizing unused resources, and to SDG 15 (“Life on Land”) by supporting healthier ecosystems.
Furthermore, through wide-ranging collaboration with municipalities across Shizuoka, Yamanashi, Kanagawa, and Tokyo, more than 100 private companies, JA organizations, and farmers, we are building a regional circular economy—a local model of the Regional Circulating and Ecological Sphere (RCES). This partnership-driven initiative embodies SDG 17 (“Partnerships for the Goals”). Our work goes beyond waste treatment; it serves as a model for advancing a local SDGs approach that supports the future of agriculture, the environment, and society as a whole.
