For Sustainable Agriculture Drone / Robotics

Bayer CropScience has been collaborating with XAG since 2018 to provide robotics solutions, including drones and agricultural unmanned ground vehicles, to Japanese agricultural sites. XAG is the world's leading company in agricultural drones.

The drones are equipped with an agricultural flight control system, enabling fully autonomous navigation and fully automated spraying. By combining GNSS and RTK, they accurately acquire positional information, allowing pesticide spraying and sensing with centimeter-level precision. Agricultural unmanned ground vehicles, utilizing RTK navigation and AI driving control, not only enable precise ground spraying and safe operations but also feature expandable functions, making them applicable for tasks like transport.

Robotics, including drones, is evolving daily. In Japan, facing challenges of an aging population and a shortage of successors, it is making a significant contribution to realizing sustainable agriculture.
