JGAP (Japan Good Agricultural Practice)

JGAP (Japan Good Agricultural Practice) is a certification system in which a third party verifies that a farm is properly managed based on standards related to food safety, environmental conservation, and worker safety. It is a framework that visualizes “good agricultural practices” in Japan. By implementing JGAP, farms can systematically manage these areas, leading to reduced risks, improved operational efficiency, enhanced credibility, and expanded sales opportunities. Furthermore, it contributes to SDGs initiatives, boosts employee awareness, and serves as a foundation for sustainable agricultural management.

GLOBALG.A.P.

GLOBALG.A.P. is an international certification system in which a third party verifies that a farm practices “sustainable production activities” with careful consideration for food safety, environmental conservation, and labor conditions. It is a global standard adopted in more than 120 to 130 countries worldwide. By obtaining GLOBALG.A.P., farms can establish management systems for safety, environment, and labor based on international standards, enhancing trust from business partners and consumers while gaining advantages in exporting and expanding sales channels. In addition, clarifying production processes improves operational efficiency and strengthens risk management, contributing to sustainable agricultural management.

ISO22000 / FSSC22000

ISO22000 is an international standard that shows a food-related company has proper systems and rules in place to ensure food is produced and delivered safely.
It helps prevent food accidents by requiring companies to manage hygiene, check for possible risks, and continuously improve their processes.
FSSC22000 is a more advanced version of ISO22000.
It adds stricter hygiene requirements and additional safety measures, making it a highly reliable international certification for food safety.
Because it is approved by the global food safety organization GFSI, it is trusted worldwide and recognized as proof that a company operates at a higher level of safety management.

GHG Emissions Verification / CFP (Carbon Footprint of Products) /LCA (Life Cycle Assessment)

GHG Emissions Verification is a process in which a third party verifies the accuracy of a company’s calculated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions based on international standards such as ISO 14064, improving the reliability and transparency of the data and strengthening trust with stakeholders.
CFP (Carbon Footprint of Products) is an indicator that visualizes the total greenhouse gas emissions generated throughout the entire life cycle of a product or service—from raw material procurement to disposal—expressed in CO₂ equivalents. This helps identify high‑impact processes, develop effective reduction measures, and enhance the value of low‑carbon products.
LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) Verification is an internationally recognized method, based on ISO 14040/44, that evaluates the environmental impact of a product or service across its full life cycle, not only in terms of greenhouse gases but also resource consumption, air pollution, and other factors. It enables comprehensive environmental assessment, highlights improvement opportunities, and supports the development of environmentally conscious products.

ISCC 【ISCC PLUS/ISCC EU/ISCC CORSIA】

ISCC certification (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) is an international scheme that verifies biomass, recycled materials, and other feedstocks are managed sustainably and traceably. It helps demonstrate that the entire supply chain meets environmental and social criteria, enhancing corporate credibility and strengthening market competitiveness.
ISCC PLUS: A voluntary certification that verifies the sustainability of a wide range of products and applications—including food, feed, chemicals, and plastics—covering markets outside the EU. It enables companies to highlight the use of recycled and bio‑based materials.
ISCC EU: A regulatory certification aligned with the EU’s Renewable Energy Directive (RED) for biofuels, required for placing sustainable biofuels on the EU market under strict sustainability and GHG-reduction criteria.
ISCC CORSIA: A certification recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), demonstrating that the fuel meets the requirements to qualify as CORSIA‑eligible fuel.
By obtaining these certifications, companies can verify sustainable sourcing of raw materials, contribute to GHG reduction, increase supply chain transparency, and enhance brand value.
